Animal Sun is made up of 4 band members, two of which are brothers from Charlottesville, VA, who moved the band out to LA, where they all reside today. Steven and I sit down and take shots as we chat about the history of their music, who inspires Steven, what it feels like to be verified on Instagram, getting nominated for a Grammy, and signing on national TV. Steven tells me each of his band members Spirit Animals, while we also chat about how to grow a fan base as an indie artist.
