Hello and welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona podcast in which hosts Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks are playing through Persona 3 Reload week by week along with the in-game calendar. On episode 13 of the Persona 3 Reload playthrough this season, the hosts cover the events of July 8-13, which includes one less day than normal but plenty more story reveals and character revelations than your average week!
The boys jump in to a story-dense week by going over the plethora of free time opportunities and eventful conversations of the week. As we're nearing an exams week, the duo digs into whether they're using their free time to study up, or if Jonathon and Tom are OK with not getting top of the class this time around. In addition to that, we discuss some of the social links we've focused on in a week where the students of Geoukkan High are too busy to pal around.
But naturally, the bulk of our conversation this week revolves around the major story and character details we learn about S.E.E.S., shadows, the Dark Hour, and how it all impacts our gang. There are multiple days of major reveals to discuss, so we go in-depth on our thoughts about what we learn regarding the gang's backstories, the advancements to the main plot, and just why exactly everyone seems to be in a bummer mood by the end of the week. From Junpei's anger to Yukari's frustrations to Mitsuru's backstory and so much more, this week in Persona 3 Reload offers no shortage of impactful scenes for us to discuss.
And, of course, we also talk about all the study sessions happening throughout the week, because even when your worldview shifts, you've still got to make time to study for P3R's exams.
