Manage episode 429404834 series 3586907
Hello and welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona podcast in which hosts Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks are playing through Persona 3 Reload week by week along with the in-game calendar. On episode 4 of the Persona 3 Reload playthrough this season, the hosts cover the events of May 5-11, which includes our first full moon operation as a member of S.E.E.S., plenty of free time, and the introduction of Elizabeth's Requests!
Small spoiler warning: We discuss Kenji's social link storyline from 29:21-32:31 and 35:18-36:34, covering some information from his third major hangout. We also briefly discuss a Persona 5 confidant during these timestamps as well. Skip over them if you haven't experienced them yet!
Take Your Time's fourth episode revolves around a big breakdown of the events of May 9 in-game, including how S.E.E.S. tackles an unexpected challenge, Tom and Jonathon's thoughts on this first "event" moment for the gang, and the character implications of what transpires. We dig into what is and isn't working narratively, mechanically, and emotionally for us so far, including how Persona 3 Reload's May operation has marked a shift in Tom's expectations going forward.
We also dig into Persona 3 Reload's latest batch of free time, including some free time hangouts with Kenji, Maya, and more. Tom and Jonathon discuss what it's like to attend P3R's club, how Elizabeth's requests are introduced, and answer some fan questions. Plus, Tom introduces a new catchphrase.
