Episode 81 - This week Art and Eric dive into their songwriting processes and how they write lyrics, much to the delight of each other but probably no one else. The news this week is particularly insightful as we discuss Vince Neil head-slamming a woman for asking for Nicholas Cage's autograph instead of his; you can't ask for a better news story than this. Next we decide to wade into politics and discuss Dr. Dre getting a citizen arrest and then searched by the police for a gun, the plot twist being that no gun was present even though the citizen claims he was held up by Dr Dre at gunpoint. The Art of trolling celebrities at it's worst or finest, we can't decide.
In the production segment Art walks us through the 4 microphones one would need to start a new studio. We discuss multiple mics at the table and eventually boil down to the 4 mics that Art recommends.
