Paul Racey is internationally recognised & one of the most highly respected people in the world of bats, having so many achievements associated with his academic work, as well as his contributions to conservation internationally. During this interview we take a look back at his working life including the following: Gerrit S. Miller Award; Mammal Society Silver Medal; BBC Wildlife “Conservation Heroes”; BCT Lifetime Achievement Award: Honorary Membership: American Society of Mammalogists; Honorary Life Membership: Bat Conservation Trust

We also talk about having a bat species named after himself, as well as various personal memories of people he has worked with on various projects both at home & overseas.
