We invite you to join us for the second out of three Conversations on Democracy, that were recorded during the high-level Future of Democracy forum, which was held in Vilnius on November 19-20, 2021. In this episode, Linas Kojala, Director of Eastern Europe Science Centre, is interviewing Jonas Parello-Plesner and Nathan Law Kwun Chung, and asking them if democracy is truly loosing out to the pressure of authoritarian regimes.

How to describe the recent developments in Hong Kong, as well as with regards to Taiwan? How important are these for a broader perspective? Is there enough political will among the democratic countries on both sides of the Atlantic to prove the resilience of democracy? What steps should be taken in the EU and beyond?

To answer these and other questions - please tune in to this special episode of Talking Diplomacy!
