Talking with Jon MacKay
Manage episode 359071400 series 3403824
Our guest today is Jon Mackay who is an artist, an illustrator and silk screen printer based near Oxford. In addition to producing his own silk screen prints that are exhibited in galleries, Jon has a string of commissions under his belt from JackSavoretti, Bears Den and The Lumineers to name but a few.
Jon met Jack by chance whilst at the local garage getting his tyres changed. After an exchange of emails Jon worked on a Singing to Strangers silk screen print and a couple of tee shirts. Jack's management then reached out to Jon and he produced the fabulous Portofino silk screen print, which he generously donated one of them to auction for Warchild to the Amoretti Official Facebook group
