In this episode, we’re talking with Jenn Fenwick, a superstar of the executive coaching scene and the head of Rebel Road Coaching.

She’s not just coached all sorts over the years, but she also climbed up the greasy pole herself – having reached the dizzying heights of Global Talent Director, before following her passion into supporting others.

Chatting with Michael Phair, Jenn talks through her career, from school and university in her native New Zealand, to her progression through the ranks in talent management – largely in the pharma sector. She talks about the day she decided to take the plunge in coaching, having had her world turned upside down by breast cancer – “if my boob hadn’t tried to kill me, I’d still be on that track” as she puts it.

She’s full of great advice for leaders – both in general, and for those struggling with how to lead from home, on zoom calls (and in slippers). She even offers her actually-more-than-three top tips for leaders in the first 90 days of a new role.

It’s a great reminder that leaders are people too – even at the very top. Please share it, rate it and let us know what you’d like to hear about next.
