Located on the St. Pete Pier, the Museum of History has been sharing the stories of the Sunshine City for 102 years and we are happy to share those stories with you here on this podcast. "My guest today is Rob Stanbaugh, whose family owned The Wax Museum in St. Pete Beach. It as the most unusual and possibly creepy roadside attraction in Pinellas County and opened in 1963. Rob later created another iconic venue in Long Key. He also worked for Disney in 1971, then opened Silas Dent restaurant in St. Pete Beach, named for the hermit of Cabbage Key.
