Equifax reported a data breach that affects 143 million US customers, about 44% of the population. It's an extremely serious breach; hackers got access to full names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses, driver's license numbers -- exactly the sort of information criminals can use to impersonate victims to banks, credit card companies, insurance companies, and other businesses vulnerable to fraud. Michael Daugherty will join me to discuss it.
Sarah Jaffe, an author and journalist, tweeted a reply to an anti-looting warning from Miami police following Hurricane Irma by saying: "The carceral state... is inseparable from white supremacy." Is arresting looters white supremacy? Ron Edwards will drop by to talk about it.
And don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day! All of this and more as time allows. Listen live, join the chatroom, be a part of the show
