This includes reinventing her magazine through the use of e-readers and tablets, increasing the usage of social media, and learning how to translate her articles into the lifestyle that surrounds food. Dana also talks about having a career in the food industry that doesn't include working directly with food, but rather finding her calling through journalism and social media. At the magazine, Dana looks to capture recipes from dishes of successful chef's, and finds ways to adapt them so that they can become accessible to the home cook.
