Join us as we continue our series in Mark's Gospel looking at Jesus the servant king. This morning we look at Jesus coming into conflict with the religious leaders. The religious leaders had reduced following God to a performance of a set of rules, rather than a relationship with God. These rules had the appearance of wisdom in helping people to God's law, but really pushed them away from him. The rules had the effect of pushing people awy from other people and away from God and so they were worthless and ineffective spirituality.
