In Oakland California, parents are protesting that their kids should help out with janitorial services in order to save money that is simply not there for education and janitorial services. In Japan the children do all the cleaning and all the light maintenance on their schools. It saves a lot of money and it teaches the kids a valuable lesson on being good stewards of their school. And no matter how much we . For instance, $16,000 per year per student in Baltimore. Almost no kids are proficient in math and language!
