How do you get the opportunity to adopt a stray cat? Easy! Just feed the cat once, and he’ll stick around. Feed him again, he’ll stick around permanently and you’ve got a stray cat. And you have all the expenses of keeping that stray cat. And other stray cats are about to come by because the word seems to spread. “You feed stray cats!” California spent $24 billion to combat homelessness over the last five years. And what’s happening? MORE homelessness! When people hear that they’re going to have a place to live, and they find out the taxpayers not they are going to spend over $380,000 to supply the new home, well that’s pretty attractive.
