Welcome to the very first episode of our brand new podcast series - "Men in Tech Empowering Women!" In this series, you will be introduced to successful men in the tech industry who are not only very skilled at what they do, but are also powerful advocates for women in tech. This week's episode features Dr. Tim DeClue. Tim is professor emeritus in the Division of Computing and Mathematics at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. His career spans 35 years of teaching and leadership in computer science and software engineering, and he has been recognized as a leader in computer science education at both the K12 and collegiate level. Dr. DeClue resides in Bolivar with his wife, Gina. Dr. DeClue has three children and six grandchildren. Tim has some incredible tips to help new tech professionals, especially women, thrive in the industry - no matter where they are in their tech journey.
