Instagram introduces Your Algorithm tool, offering users more control over content recommendations. This feature, starting with Reels, allows users to view and adjust topics influencing their feed, creating a more personalized experience. Users can share their interests on Instagram Stories and choose to see more or less of specific topics, directly impacting future recommendations. This move follows TikToks Manage Topics feature, but Instagrams approach offers a more personalized list of topics and the ability to add new ones. The tool is currently available in the US and will roll out globally in English soon, with plans to expand to other parts of the app.
