Jorge is a software engineer at Scalac, mostly focused on the backend. He's had the chance to work with several technologies and programming languages across different industries, such as Telco, AdTech, Streaming and Online Education. Also, he loves Functional Programming, especially in Scala.

In this episode Jorge shared about his journey during his career path since his studies. He studied Telecommunication Engineering at university, at the same time he got interested into programming and he was learning different programming languages until he found a job that enabled him to use his software development knowelegde in real life to solve real World problems and to develop his skills.

Jorge shared about different challenges that he had faced and about the steps that helped him to get closer to his dream job.
