Street Fighter Alpha 3 is a fighting game developed and published by Capcom. It was originally released for the arcade in 1998, followed by ports to the Dreamcast, PlayStation, and Game Boy Advance. The Dreamcast and PlayStation versions were released in Japan in 1999, with North American and European releases following in 2000. The Game Boy Advance version was released worldwide in 2002. Street Fighter Alpha 3 builds on the gameplay of its predecessors Street Fighter II and Street Fighter Alpha 2, adding a third “Super” mode known as “Redemption Mode”, which gives the player a limited number of tries to win each round while still having access to all moves.
