Considering that the main characters of Prison Break escaped from said prison at the end of the show’s first season, it seems almost miraculous that the show’s initial run went for four seasons, and it was then brought back for an additional fifth season nearly a decade later! Although there haven’t been any new episodes since 2017, the show has been performing extremely well on Netflix, introducing a whole new set of fans to the show. Wentworth Miller, who starred as Michael Scofield (the mastermind behind the escape plan), once told us why he thought the show lasted as long and performed as well as it did.
