Pursuing higher education, she majored in business administration at Johnson C Smith in Charlotte, NC. Beverly's professional journey kicked off at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC, where she contributed to the administration section of their Training Command. Transitioning to finance at Fort Jackson in Columbia, Beverly's career reached new heights when she became a tax collector with the IRS. Her expertise and commitment to financial matters eventually led her to retire as the St. Louis/East St. Louis Regional Territory Manager in 2017. Post-retirement, Beverly returned to Columbia, finding solace in family bonds. In 2019, however, her life took an unexpected turn with financial irregularities and memory lapses, leading to a transformative diagnosis. Undeterred, Beverly remains resolute, drawing strength from her determination and unwavering support system. Even on challenging days, she finds solace in cherished activities like playing tennis with friends and bowling with family every Friday night.
