Jon Kabat-Zinn is a pioneering figure in the field of mindfulness and its integration into mainstream Western medicine and psychology. He is Professor of Medicine Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he created both the Stress Reduction Clinic and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society.
