Yahweh is not just God of Israel. He is God of the entire earth and of every nation. Andrew and Edwin bring to mind the story of Ben-Hadad attacking Israel under Ahab. Despite how wicked Ahab is, Yahweh gives victory to Israel in order to demonstrate He is God every where, in the mountains, on the plains, everywhere.
