In this episode, we talk with Bronx born and bred Boricua writer, bibliophile, and editor, Angelique Imani Rodriguez. Angelique is a three-time alum of the VONA (Voices of Our Nations Arts) Foundation’s workshops and a two-time alum of Vanessa Martir's Writing Our Lives workshops. She discusses with us her current projects, most notably Fried Eggs and Rice: A Series by Writers of Color on Food, a multi-genre series of works that focus on the significance of food memory and culture, her thoughts on “Bennifer 2.0”, repping the Bronx, writing for your audience and the importance of feeding your creative spirit.
