Author and senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Ojai Gavin Ortlund explains how he was forced while in seminary to put his own position of infant baptism under rigorous examination. The arguments resulting from that intense study may surprise you.
Gavin is the author of Theological Retrieval for Evangelicals: Why we Need Our Past to Have a Future, which focuses on particular doctrines and neglected theologians to show how evangelicals can draw from the past to meet the challenges of the present, as well as Anselm's Pursuit of Joy and Retrieving Augustine's Doctrine of Creation. He holds a PhD from Fuller Theological Seminary.
