Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory, we give, you honor, we give you praise. We thank you, God, that your word assures us of total victory in this life and in the life to come.
We thank you, God, that your word says these things you have spoken to us. That we may have your peace. In the world, we will have tribulations, but we should be of good cheer because you have overcome the world. And that means you have defeated, Jesus, and everything that the world has to offer. And in you, we can experience peace. We can experience victory. Even in our tribulations, we can experience your joy. Even in times of sorrow because we know how our life ends in eternal life because of our belief in you.
And so we give you glory. We give you praise for total victory in our life that you want us to win, that you have great things for us. You have great plans for us. According to Jeremiah 29 and 11, your word says, I know the plans I have for you, sayeth the Lord. Glory be to God.
We give you glory, we give you praise that you have great plans for us. We give you glory, we give you praise that you fight all of our battles.
All we have to do is worship. All we have to do is praise. All we have to do is make your name great. And there you are. Sabotaging all of our enemies. There you are. Bringing us out of and snatching us out of the hands of defeat, in Jesus' name.
We give you glory. We give you praise that our lives are covered by your blood in the name of Jesus, that our children are covered by the blood of Jesus. We have your protection and your blessed assurance. Glory be to God. That no good thing will you withhold from them that walk upright. We give you the glory that all your thoughts towards us are good thoughts, and we bless your name. We honor you for your love for us. We reciprocate that love in following you and acknowledging you with all of our heart, our minds, our souls, and our strength.
We love you, God. And then we love our neighbors and ourselves. In Jesus' name. We celebrate your victory today. Hey, glory. With you on our side, nobody should be able to stop us.
We honor you for it. We give you praise and glory, in Jesus' name.
