Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is the second prayer in the series, simply thankful.
Father God in the name of Jesus, I honor your name and I am simply thankful. Thank you for your presence in my life. Thank you that I am created in your image. Your word declares that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you have a plan for my life. Not just for my life. But God you have a plan for all of us, and I give you glory, and I give you praise. With a heart of Thanksgiving for your provisions, how you have provided for me, how you have watched over me and kept me safe. How you have watched over my children, the peace of God that's in our hearts and our minds and our souls.
Not only did you do it for me, but you've done it for others, and I just want to pause and take a moment to say, thank you.
Thank you, Lord for all that you've done. I realize that it is because of you that I'm blessed and I give you all glory and praise for your presence in my life.
Simply. Thankful.
