Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory, we give you praise. And I honor your name. And what a great name, the name of Jesus. Thank you for your goodness and your love and your patience towards us. Thank you for always being with us, taking care of us.
And God, your word says the anointing of God is upon us. We have been smeared with the oil of God. And you have sent us to bind up the brokenhearted. So, God, I pray for freedom for those who are suffering from a broken heart. I pray to God in the name of Jesus that they will find freedom in Jesus' name. And that their hearts will be mended.
I pray to God for freedom from grief. And intense torment where their hearts and their souls have been shattered. And God I pray in the name of Jesus that your spirit would move up upon their hearts and their minds, and you would give them purpose in living. You will give them a new meaning in living in Jesus' name.
I pray that they will know that you love them and that you're with them. That you'll never leave them nor forsake them. And that they have a purpose in this life, in Jesus' name. Heal our brokenness. Free us from our broken hearts.
In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
