During Around the World, the fellas talk about the NBA’s latest news. They discuss Kevin Durant’s impact on the Western Conference and they agree The Eastern Conference Finals “should” be Milwaukee and Boston. They also agree the NBA is somewhat of a bad product these days. They also discuss MLB, XFL and MLS. They have a phenomenal discussion about Ja Morant and they hope he gets the help he needs.
In Naptown News, the fellas breakdown the Pacers slow start to the new year (2023) and agree they can still get to 35+ wins (which was their target number of success at the beginning of the season). They talk about the Indianapolis Colts’ new coaches. Pops is excited to see change and feels good things are on the way. If we can land CJ Stroud, the Colts have the potential to be a big deal in years to come.
The Fine Print discussion covers Geno Smith’s new contract extension w/ the Seattle Seahawks along w/ a discussion of “NBA What If’s”. If neither got hurt, who would’ve had the better career, friends. Grant Hill or Penny Hardaway? Yeah, we know it’s a great question. 😜
