Today's podcast is PART TWO of a round table discussion with members from the Indiana chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). This was fun man. Jack Cain, INORML's Organizational Director, invited me to his house in Indianapolis Indiana where we were joined by Jason Straw: Vice-Chair, Angel Phillips: Communications Director, Sharon Sink: Membership Director, and Terry Moore: a former domestic abuse counselor and advocate for NORML. Despite being within the city proper of the capital of Indiana, Jack's backyard is set up like a Zen garden with the most peaceful and beautiful scenery including a meditation area cut within a patch of trees. Walking into this sanctuary I felt an immediate sense of hospitality and calm as we got ready for the interview. Over the course of the next couple of hours, we talked about the state of cannabis prohibition in the state of Indiana and what INORML is doing as an organization to educate and inform change. Each member present spent some time delving into their own back story and what brought them to this charge. Each of the people brings laughter, insight, and advocacy into their work and it is not for a second lost on this conversation... especially Terry :) I loved talking with Terry; he's a funny dude man. This episode is part 1 of a 2-part session. Next week you'll get to hear the latter half of the conversation where we talk about recruitment and resources for folks interested in finding out more about INORML and what they are doing here in the state of Indiana!
