Many consultants use content such as articles, video training, ebooks, webinars, etc to educate potential clients and attract them to their services. However, most such content merely provides information to the consumer, without them taking the action that the producer of the content wants, e.g. booking a sales meeting.
In this episode, I reveal a principle arising from a historical event from 400BC, that makes the difference between content that informs and content that compels action. We want the consumers of our content not just to learn something from our content, but to be compelled to take action because of it. I highlight the important concepts you must employ to ensure your content is action compelling content and not just one of the many informative pieces you will find on LinkedIn or wherever else you post content.
