Recently, the federal government announced changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program by reducing the number of workers employers can hire in an effort to weed out what it considers misuse and fraud in the system. To discuss the implications of these changes on businesses, workers, and the economy, we are joined by Mike Moffat, Director of the Smart Prosperity Institute; Dan Kelly, CEO and President of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business; Elizabeth Long, immigration lawyer for Long Mangalji LLP; and Jim Stanford, economist and Director of the Centre for Future Work.
