Maddison-Lee Wesche has produced a personal best of 19.86 metres to win silver in the women's shotput final at Stade de France at the Paris Olympics.

The Kiwi's been pipped for gold on the final throw by Germany's Yemisi Ogunleye, who launched a heave of 20 metres for gold.
