Under the NWA banner as Smoky Mountain and later Innovate Pro Wrestling, Tony Givens’ has helped develop wrestling in the Mountain Empire region of Tennessee. Tony’s Smoky Mountain served as a premier member of the National Wrestling Alliance from 2011 until 2017. On tonight’s episode of the Alliance Guys Podcast, we’ll be taking a look back at Tony’s time with the National Wrestling Alliance and looking forward to their big event on Saturday, May 27th Collision Course. On that night Kerry Morton will defend the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship, in a venue that hasn’t seen that title defended since September 2015.
We will also discuss with Tony about the NWA today. We’ll also be covering this week's NWA POWERRR in full detail. Is Kenzie still the champion? What about those tune-up matches?
