SHUT OFF iMESSAGE
If you don’t disable iMessage and FaceTime, you won’t receive message notifications on your Android. Here’s how to do that:
1. While your SIM card is still in your iPhone, go to Settings → Messages → Turn off iMessage.
2. Then go to Settings → FaceTime → Turn off FaceTime.
3. You’ll need to deregister your phone number from other Apple devices as well.
