Ben and Nathan get into what modern gunsmithing means in the world of small arms R&D work, what makes a good gunsmith, what going to school for gun smithing at Montgomery Community College was like including finishing Nighthawk 1911's, handcarving rifle stocks, machining your own tools and more! The guys also touch on learning gunsmithing in-person versus online, some manufacturing knowledge you might not know including how important anodizing can be, 'turbocancer' dangers for those who work around high volumes of lead, some engineering history and how far the AR platform has come since it's inception, Sig hate and much more!
