Our South African doing great things this evening is MomConnect. MomConnect is a flagship programme which aims to support maternal and child health using mobile technology. Through MomConnect, pregnant women all over SA receive free health messages via SMS or WhatsApp and can access a text-based helpdesk for ratings or queries. MomConnect has assisted nearly 5 million mothers and our goal is to get to #5million more. To help us know and understand more about MomConnect, we are joined by Desi Nair,Senior Project Manager from Reach Digital Health.
