Women for STEM In this episode of The Backlog, our senior consultant in Canada, Karen Chan sits down with Susan McGovern. Susan is the Vice President of External Relations and Advancement at Ontario Tech University. Karen is a mentor for their programme Women for Stem, and is on the Women for Stem council. Ontario Tech is one of the newest universities in Canada, starting in 2003. It specializes science technology engineering and math. In the last 4 years Susan has been involved in developing the programme Women for STEM, to encourage girls and women to consider a career in STEM and study at Ontario Tech. The Women For Stem programme has three pillars, Scholarship, Mentorship, Celebrate.
