200 STAB WOUNDS will hit the road this August for a North American headlining tour. The Manual Manic Procedures Tour kicks off on August 16th in Houston, Texas, and wraps up on September 10th in Ottawa, Ontario. Supporting acts include Balmora, Upon Stone, and Stabbing. Following this tour, the band will join Nails for ten dates, culminating in a performance at this year’s New England Metal And Hardcore Fest in Worcester, Massachusetts. Afterwards, they will play four more shows with Alluvial, Torture, and Killing Pace. This fall, 200 STAB WOUNDS will devastate stages across Europe with Gatecreeper and Enforced.
Manual Manic Procedures, the highly anticipated new album from Cleveland death metal titans 200 STAB WOUNDS, is out today via Metal Blade Records!
Following their acclaimed debut, 2021’s Slave To The Scalpel, Manual Manic Procedures delivers a brutal dose of old-school death metal with a modern twist. This album is not for the faint-hearted and is poised to reinstate classic gore-themed ferocity into the metal community’s consciousness. The album’s cover art graphically depicts radical surgery on a possibly conscious individual, signaling the intense nature of the record. Expect no punches pulled, just relentless, blood-soaked death metal.
The tracks on Manual Manic Procedures are NSFW, possibly unsafe anywhere. This dark charm stands out in a world where even heavy music can play it too safe. 200 STAB WOUNDS has crafted this album for thrill-seekers, carnage cravers, horror fans, and extreme metal enthusiasts. In celebration of the album’s release, the band has dropped a video for “Gross Abuse.”
Vocalist/guitarist Steve Buhl explains, “‘Gross Abuse’ is a straightforward death metal torture song. It's heavy, groovy, and brutally simple, so the lyrics had to match. It’s your typical torture-murder-death metal track about killing someone.”
