Under the Second Amendment, which guarantees that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed,” most Americans are able to purchase guns legally. With 225 years since its ratification, the Second Amendment has stood the test of time and has not once been amended. Should the United States amend the Second Amendment?
