Welcome to the Best is Yet to Come with Pastor Brad Morgan. This week Pastor Brad teaches a message "Ziklag, the Place of Restoration." The first 7 months of this year have not been easy, but God is working in the midst of this struggle and trial. God is going to bring tremendous restoration to his covenant, faithful people. Pastor Brad begins by teaching from 1 Samual 30 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+samuel+30&version=NKJV). The setting for this passage is that David had ran to the land of the Phillistines, to Ziklag, to get away from Saul. This was David settling for something less, even though God had given him a promise. David and his men had a great loss when Ziklag was invaded and many were captured. This grieved David greatly. His men even began to betray him. "But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God." Psalms 37:23-24 says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand." God can bring purpose and life lessons out of your falling. God is uniquely in a position to restore all. James 1:5-6 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." You can doubt in your head, but believe in your heart. God wants to restore what is lost. www.NewLifeBeginningsChurch.com
