Many in the church will seek to avoid controversy no matter what. Whether they are fearful of cancel culture or misapplying verses about worthless controversy, many leaders in the church will not publicly oppose the idols of the day. It is often viewed as more virtuous to be a slave to today's idols than it is to call out those enslaved. This episode is the first half of our conversation discussing why Christians need to talk about controversial issues and why we have set out to discuss them on the podcast. ▶ Splash Page: https://i.mtr.bio/biblebashed ▶ Main Episode's playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtY_5efowCOk74PtUhCCkvuHlif5K09v9 ▶ Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/BibleBashed ▶ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BibleBashed ▶ Twitter: https://twitter.com/BibleBashed
