Andrea grew up in a small Texas town and was a survivor of sexual violence as a teenage girl. As a student in Germany on a foreign exchange program, she met a young woman who was a domestic labor trafficking victim enslaved by her husband. Andrea searched for her friend after she disappeared but was ultimately unable to find her. This sparked a lifelong passion for supporting victims of traffickers and abusers
