19th Century civil rights giant, Martin Delany, was a publisher, doctor, educator, Army Major and as radical as they came in the 1800s. We discuss him and his place in the civil rights cannon on this episode. We also define the historical characteristics of black leaders and institutions and demonstrate how BLM is not a black civil rights organization (for those of you still under the delusion it is).
