Dani Gonzalez is a young lieutenant with a South Florida Fire Department. She is a veteran firefighter, who's been certified for over 12 years and has actively been working within the City of Miami for just under 9 years. She discusses the mental fortitude necessary for such a career, as well as the misfortune that manifested her choice to pursue it. From having a medical issue that caused a different approach to life, to battling with emotional disconnection, Dani has become an amazing woman with a very bright future.
