Amber Tucarro, at 20 years old, was a single, aboriginal, mother from Alberta, Canada. After meeting a new friend they decide to take a mini vacation to Edmonton with Amber's 14 month old son. They spend the day shopping and then Amber decides she wants to go back to Edmonton that evening. She leaves her son with her friend, promising to be back in a little while, and she heads out into the night to find a ride. Amber never comes back. Two years later, her remains would be found an hour away from Canada's Highway of Tears.
