This week in the federal trial of Boston Marathon bombing defendant Dzhokar Tsarnaev, focus shifted away from Boylston Street and moved to Watertown, where Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed after a gun fight with police, and his brother Dzhokar was found hours later hiding in a boat. On the witness stand was the owner of that boat, who discovered something was amiss after the shelter in place order was lifted. We also heard from State Police and FBI witnesses, who detailed the weapons used in the gun fight and the Al Qaeda recruitment literature found on the defendant’s computer. Once again we were joined this week by Suffolk University Law Professor Chris Dearborn, who helped break down the evidence and gave his insight and analysis.
