Stan Bicknell is a drumming powerhouse. From his groove work playing with both Kimbra and Miami Horror to his technical prowess playing Meshuggah and Mars Volta medleys on his youtube channel he always gets the job done like a consummate professional. he has been invited to perform at the most revered drum workshops in the world and holds his own against the top names in the industry. We sat down to discuss his humble beginnings in the Tool tribute band ‘Loot’, his work with his band The New Caledonia, playing as a session drummer, being a dad and putting in your time on the ‘rudiments of life’.
