After a few weeks off, The Box Out returns with the first of three podcasts this week as Jason and Kahlil return to work. So much has happened over the last few weeks, including new coaching hires, jersey releases, but the big story this week will be the 2020 NBA Draft. This year’s draft has no drama shortage as there is no clear-cut number one overall pick. The intrigue at the top will affect the New York Knicks, who sit at the miserable number eight spot. Who will the Knicks draft? Who should the Knicks draft? More came out of the Knicks’ Universe as two players have been linked with New York through trades. Chris Paul, stuck in OKC’s rebuild, and Russell Westbrook are rumored as targets for the Knicks. There are massive amounts of money left on their contracts, making deals difficult and indeed a roster shaping move. Should the Knicks pursue these players?
