This week we're continuing our coverage of the Achaemenid (Persian) Empire. This episode is a bit of a redux of our Greco-Persian series but from the Persian perspective. We cover the Persian army, its logistics, and troubles, as well as Darius' and Mardonius' first invasion, followed by Xerxes' invasion. Come learn more about the Persian side of the story, and why they weren't as bad (or as numerous) as we have been led to believe nowadays. Look forward to the next episode, we're planning an extra-length Persian culture episode, get excited!
