Cole South (@ColeSouth) has mastered pretty much everything he’s touched, and this pod was a great opportunity to learn from him. His ascendency in poker was legendary, but I didn’t understand before this podcast exactly how rapid it was: he discovered poker at the very end of 2005, and was one of the biggest winners in the game in the Spring 0f 2006. He then quit school (he later finished) and stayed at the top of the game for almost a decade. In the early-to-mid 2010s, he spent increasing amounts of time in crypto; this is the subject of the second half of our conversation.
